France’s upcoming strikes
Potentially the worst days for strikes will be Thursday May 26th and June 14th when unions opposed to the labour reforms have called for nationwide walk-outs and street protests.
The industries in strike are:
National rail services – SNCF –
Every Wednesday and Thursday each week, but on Tuesday the CGT say they will ask their members to strike daily from June 1st. Nationwide action June 14th will also likely see disruption.
Fuel depots and refineries – Ongoing
Electricity supplies – Thursday May 26th. Nationwide
Paris transport system – RATP – Indefinitely from Thursday, June 2nd in Paris and its suburbs
Orly Airport – Thursday, May 26th and June 14th
National airports – June 2nd to June 5th
